C2 user manual

Mechanical installation:

You most likely need to move your mirror-clutch assembly just few millimeters to get the needed space (10 mm) for SilverFox clamp arm.

Slide the plastic adjustment ring on to the 22 mm handlebar (rings available for 25 mm handlebars too). By rotating the adjustment ring you can move the controller forward or backward on the motorcycle handle bar. Clamp the device on the adjustment ring evenly with two M4 screws.

Asennus:

Tee tilaa kontrollerin kiinnitinvarrelle siirtämällä peili-kytkin-kokoonpanoa 10 mm oikealle.

Asenna muovinen säätörulla 22 mm ohjaustankoon. (saatavilla myös 25 mm halkaisijalla). Pyörittämällä säätörullaa voit hienosäätää kontrollerin asentoa eteen- tai taaksepäin. Kiristä laite sopivaan asentoon kiristämällä tasaisesti kumpaakin M4 ruuvia.

Connect the power cord to the fuse protected 12VDC output (post ignition) of your bike (Operating voltage range 5-24VDC). Double check to make sure to connect the cords are correct; Brown wire to negative (-) and White wire to positive (+).

C1 units are supplied with M12 connectors to plug&play with DMD T865 harness. This connection supports DMD cable connection - system and gets the power feed by the connector. With extra cable in a box can be connected to 12VDC power feed for other systems.

C1 laitteet on varustettu M12 liittimellä, joka sopii Plug&Play DMD laitteiden johtosarjaan. Tukee DMD:n cable connection - yhteyttä ja saa 12VDC syötön liittimen kautta.

Ylimääräinen kaapeli voidaan kytkeä 12VDC ulostuloon, jos käytössä ei ole DMD tablettia.

Connect bluetooth:

Power on the SilverFox navigation controller. Open the Bluetooth settings on your Android device. Find and tap on the device "C2SilverFox" from the list of devices. Accept the pairing request. Your SilverFox navigation controller is now paired using Bluetooth.

Connect Cable by DMD:

To enter the cable connection mode:

- turn off the power

- keep left switch on left and right joystick on right

- keep holding the joystics and turn the power ON

- both LEDs are lit for successful cable connection

Returning back to Bluetooth mode repeat the instructions above.

Yhdistä bluetooth:

Käynnistä C1 kontrolleri. Avaa Bluetooth asetukset Android laitteessasi. Valitse "C2SilverFox" bluetooth listasta. Hyväksy paritus. Nyt laite on Bluetooth-yhdistetty.

Yhdistä DMD kaapeliyhteys:

Vaihtaaksesi kaapeli tilaan:

- katkaise virta

- pidä vasen vipu vasemmalla ja oikea joystick oikealla

- pidä valittuna ja kytke virta

- kumpikin LED palaa yhtäaikaa kaapeliyhteyden merkiksi

Paluu Bluetooth tilaan, toista ohje

Install the InControl app:

Download InControl, unzip it and install it to your Android device. On first run the app will ask to enable the the accessibility service for InControl app.

By installing and using this application, you acknowledge and agree that the software is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

The developer shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages, malfunctions, data loss, or unintended behavior resulting from the use of this application or connected external devices.

The user is solely responsible for verifying that the application is suitable for their device, environment, and intended use.

This application does not collect or store personal data.

Asenna the InControl app:

Lataa InControl, pura se ja asenna Android laitteeseen. Kun avaat ohjelman ensimmäistä kertaa, ohjelma pyytää hyväksymään "accessibility service" InControl appille.

Operating the C2 units

The Keysets:

The C2 controller has two selectable keysets. Both keysets are pre-programmed to send different key codes to the Android device. For example, the "zoom in" button sends a different command in the F1 mode than in the F2 mode.

To change the keyset on the C2 controller briefly pinching the "Control Switch" right and "Panning Joystick" left. The LED corresponds to active F-state

C2 käyttö

Key-setit:

C2 kontrollerissa on kaksi valittavaa key-settiä, F1 ja F2. Kummatkin on esi-ohjelmoitu. Tilat lähettää eri komentoja Android laitteeseen. Esimerkiksi "zoom in" lähettää F1-tilassa eri komennon kuin F2 tilassa.

Vaihtaaksesi F-tilan C2 kontrollerissa, "nipistä" kumpaakin joystickia yhteen; "Control vipu" oikealle ja "Panorointi joystick" vasemmalle. LED valot näyttävät aktiivisen F-tilan.

F1-keyset:

Choose for map applications with the InControl app such as Google Maps, Waze, Gaia GPS, etc. (working under InControl app).

Panning Joystick movements correspond with left, right, up and down map movement.

Control Joystick forward and back movements corresponds to zoom actions

Control Joystick hold forward (500ms) centers the map to your current position.

Control Joystick right and Panning Joystick left => jumps to F2 mode

F2-keyset:

Choose for apps that has special key mappings like MyRoute, Stegra.io, Kurviger, Mapitare, Ranniot, Tracker, Locus Maps, DMD2 or Osmand

Panning Joystick movements correspond to left, right, up, and down map movement.

Control Joystick forward => character '-'

Control Joystick forward hold + => letter 'C' for centering the map

Control Joystick backward => character '='

Control Joystick backward and hold - => letter 'D'

Control Joystick right and Panning Joystick left => jumps to F1 mode

F1-tila:

Käytä tätä tilaa yhdessä InControl sovelluksen kanssa kuten Google Maps, Waze, Gaia GPS, jne. (InControl appsin alaisia ohjelmia).

Panorointi Joystick liikkeet ovat vasen, oikea, ylös ja alas.
