Which SilverFox Navigation Controller Should I Choose?

H1+? C1? C2? Which SilverFox motorcycle navigation controller is best for me??

Well, first the good news! All three of the SilverFox navigation Controllers require the amount of space on the handlebars. The attachment arm design for all of the controllers requires only 9mm of space for the clamp ring to go on. The three different conrtollers, with the right programming in the different applications, will provide all the required functions to manage the map applications while driving - and all three controllers, with the help of the InControl Application, with work with 30+ different map applications. Additionally, these SilverFox controllers fall into the same price range.

Now for the bad news...they are all pretty awsome! :D

When we are discussing with riders at the different exhibitions and events, the focus is:

1. "Which controller fits on your bike?" &

2. "Which contoller suits your ergonomics the best?"

1. All of the SilverFox controllers have some simple adjustments that allow them to fit most bikes. There are challenges though, especially with some of the new bikes, on how much space is availble. Even the 9mm of space can be challenging with some set-ups. Most of the time though, shifting the mirror and/or clutch assembly can provide the required space. The other consideration, if you want to hang either the C1 or C2 controller under that handlebars, there has to be a minimum of 40mm between the handlebars and the tank, when the bars are turned all the way to the left.

   
   

2. Choose the controller that seems to "feel right". The H1+ controller is set "in front" of the handle bars, so the rider is often using the pointer finger of the left hand to press the buttons and move the joystick. The C1 and C2 controllers provide some options, to use the thumb (when mounted under the handlebars) or the pointer finger (when mounted above the handlebars). And, what feels good? Do you like pushing the buttons, clicking the switch, or manouvering the joysticks?
