Motorcycle Navigation Controllers
Motorcycle handlebar navigation controllers are devices that support using navigation application while riding. Using a motorcycle navigaiton controller allows the driver to perform basic map application functions without having to stop riding, remove their gloves, or use the touch screen of the phone or tablet that is displaying the map application.
Motorcycle navigation controllers provide a safer way for riders to adjust their map applications while riding. The basic controller funtions allow the rider to zoom-in, zoom-out, re-center, pan across the map display without removing their hands from the handlebars.
Handlebar navigation controllers are heavily used by adventure and touring riders, but the application does not end there! Navigation controllers are also utilized in rally roadbook, ATVs, and snowmobiles.

Navigation Controller Set-ups
Choosing the right motorcycle navigation controller will depend on a few things. The brand of motorcycle and the space available on and around the handlebars; and the rider preference on what is the most comfortable to use, i.e. under, over, or in front of the handlebars.
SilverFox navigation controllers provide, and recommend using, a Bluetooth connection. The wireless connection allows riders to use a variety of mobile devices: phones, simple android tablets, or motorcycle specific navigation tablets.
The 12V power is provided via a post ignition port on the bike, and that is the only wire required to start using the SilverFox navigation controllers.
Navigation Controllers & Applications
Motorcycle navigation controllers should not limit you use of navigation applications. SilverFox navigation controllers have been tested with over 30 different motorcycle navigation applications. This testing process means that the riders can choose their favorite application, connect the controller via Bluetooth, complete the required button mapping, and then go for a ride!
SilverFox motorcycle navigation controllers are actively used with DMD2, Stegra.io, OsmAnd, Google Maps, Locus Maps, MyRoute, Kurviger, Rally Roadbook, and many more!
