Durability and Quality of the SilverFox Navigation Controllers
The SilverFox Motorcycle Navigtion Controllers are manufactured in Finland, at the SilverFox machine shop. By designing and manufacuring the controllers in the local Finnish machine shop, the product quality can be maintained at the required standards.
The machined aluminum controller casings and attachment arms are designed with both usabilty and durability in mind. With the intent of making sure that the controllers will survive riding with hardest of riders! So far the controllers have rolled over on, dumped in water, stuck in mud, used in extreme heat, and in operated in chillingly cold weather, and the feedback of SilverFox operations has been great! While it is impossible to plan and design for all possible scenarios, the limitations that are reached by some riders out there give us the opportunity to evaluate, test, and improve!
Below is an example of one extreme scenario. And, while the controller did not survive the crash damage free, it survived well enough that some spare parts got it back into use with very little delay!
