What Screens work with the SilverFox Motorcycle Navigation Controllers?
The short answer: Whatever screen best suits your needs!
One of the concerns when people check-out the SilverFox Navigation Controllers at the different exhibitions, is the type of expensive navigation tablet that we are going to try to sell them! While navigation specific tablets, like Carpe Iter, are awesome to have, they are not what everyone is looking for. Many riders will put their Android phone into a good phone mount -- and that's all they want for now. And, you can still use a SilverFox Controller!
SilverFox motorcycle navigation handlebar controllers are designed to work with almost every device that riders might use for navigation. Use your smart phone, your basic tablet, or a purpose built motorcycle navigation tablet, and the SilverFox controllers can support your ride! Because SilverFox Controllers use a Bluetooth controller connection they can be connected to any screen device that supports this. There are some exceptions with "closed system" navigation set-ups (such as Garmin and BMW), but that variety of options is still really big!
Using a SilverFox controller is like "build your own adventure set-up". Choose from the three different SilverFox controllers, connect it to the device of your choice, and select your favorite motorcycle navigation application. Program the SilverFox controller as it is required based on the navigation application of choice (read more on button mapping here). Once the buttons are set up...go for a ride!!
